Greetings!

My name is Sean McInnes and I am a Business Analyst with 20+ years experience collaborating effectively to deliver solutions in a wide variety of domains. My experience is working with Information Systems within IT/S or embedded in other Business Area’s which demonstrates my approach to an opportunity comes from multiple diverse backgrounds.

I am curious, self aware, energetic, flexible thinker with an open mind and a pragmatic approach to leadership and analysis. I maintain my PMP and Prosci Change Management certifications which complement my Bachelor of Management (IS), and Masters Certificates in Project Management and Business Analysis.   The last couple of year I have considered CBAP or BA certification within the PMI. I do subscribe to the concept of lifelong learning which has assisted me in adapting to new domains, communicating effectively and establishing trust with all stakeholders in an organization.

One thing I have observed is all projects introduce change and that it is very important to manage the change effectively. The business analyst is often visible as an agent in all phases of the project and needs to engage each stakeholder with a context appropriate tool or process. Increasingly I have felt my strength and passion while utilizing my skills, knowledge and experience as a Business Analyst allows me to positively influence the change both leadership, team and more importantly the end users or customers.

This is why I consider myself an excellent Business Analyst.
